“Unfinished project ready for paint & putting back together” 1973 Triumph GT6 Mk3 converted to Spitfire Mk4 Convertible body.

Best of Both Worlds, 1973 GT6 Mk3 Chassis Restored, all New Mechanics & desirable Fresh Reconditioned 2. 0 litre Engine/ Gearbox/ Diff! With Spitfire Mk4 Convertible Body, Ready for Final Gloss Paint of your choice & interior fitments to your desired standard. Unfinished PROJECT Reg NHF 425L Tax Class Historic Vehicle, with Matching Numbers. Garaged in Durrington, West Sussex. BN12.
The complete Chassis was in good condition & repaired where required, shot blasted then painted with rust treatment & primer then several coats of gloss paint. All shock absorbers, spring arms, steering rack etc. replaced with NEW.
The whole Engine was professionally reconditioned with unleaded head carburettors. Also, the Gearbox together with the Diff is fully reconditioned.
The Body has been fully prepared & painted with rust treatment & primer. With new nuts & bolts replaced. Full set of silicone hoses. The body had all rust removed with new panels, new flooring, new boot floor, new inner & outer sills, and new rear panels all replaced with Heritage panels. Ready for gloss painting except for doors & boot need prep then paint. The Triumph GT6 Bonnet is also fully prepped, primered and ready to gloss paint.
“Unfortunately, (photos taken prior) while the vehicle was garaged, some superficial surface rust appeared on random areas inside the body. Specialist advice states this can be easily managed with light prepping, such as sanding or wire brushing, followed by a coat of rust-preventive primer before painting. Importantly, this doesn't affect the structural integrity of the panels.
As a result, I've reduced the selling price to £5, 950 to account for this”.

An incredible transformation. Its freshly completed chassis, body restoration & engine etc. make this exciting project a known quantity, ripe to be taken on by a passionate and imaginative enthusiast.
Thousands have been spent on this project, but sadly, I can't complete it due to unexpected ill health.
The car is easily movable but will require a Vehicle Transporter. The many parts would require a small Van to transport, the largest part being the GT6 Bonnet.
