1967 Bultaco Pursang model 42 For Sale
HIGHLIGHTS
Rare 60s Pursang with period features
Replacement plastics made from the original moulds
Fully rebuilt engine
THE APPEAL
Introduced in 1967, it’s fair to say that the Pursang was a bit of a tipping point from its Mk1 predecessor. A five-speed transmission was packed into the engine cases, and the bodywork gained a distinctly square character. It wasn’t, perhaps, the most Motocross-friendly bike, but it carved such a place for itself, it didn’t seem to matter what it was suited for. They may be rare now, but there’s no doubting their impact.
This example has undergone an extensive rebuild - the true extra mile, with specially-manufactured plastic components made from the original moulds and a full engine rebuild.
