Die Mercedes Coupés und Cabriolets der Baureihe W111/ W112 wurden von 1961 bis 1971 produziert. Vom 300SE W112 Werks Cabriolet wurden nur 708 Exemplare gebaut.
Dieses Mercedes 300 SE Werks Cabriolet wurde am 05. 12. 1968 in den USA (in dieser Farbkombination, laut vorliegender Datenkarte) erstmals zugelassen. Seit 1992 befindet sich das Fahrzeug in Deutschland in Sammlerhand und wurde immer durch Fachbetriebe gewartet.
