Description
Harley Davidson XLCH/ XLH Sportster project. PX Triumph 6T parts
Good opportunity to make an original 1960's Sportster in your own/ original style.
A major positive is a fully rebuilt matching 1964 XLH bottom end by experienced Harley engine builder, with TRO-C cast iron trapdoor/ and correctly shimmed gearbox with aircraft grade high tensile bolts. Has Andrews P+ cams. The right hand casing has been strengthened and bushed at rear of gearbox, a known weak area.
1968 (Sept)XLCH frame / lunchbox oil tank, but no V5 / Nova
Harley did not VIN ID the frames in the 1960's but if you know where to look you can date it.
Various other parts as seen in photo (Tank, seat, shocks/ swing arm/ volyage regulator, oil tank, brake pedals footrest, street cut silencers, headlight bib etc).
I bought this with the intent to make my own 1964 XLH/ XLCH factory original sportster with single seat, but I managed to acquire a complete bike, so it?s time to pass on this project.
Prefer to sell as a project but I could split if interested in a particular item. Would also PX for Triumph 1950 6T thunderbird parts / engine
I have costed out the parts shown in the photos , combined as being about £3280
Located central Scotland near Perth/ Dundee
