Description
Norton Weslake 850cc 8 valve caferacer.
This bike was a no expense spared build to produce the ultimate caferacer back in 2015. Its done a couple of hundred miles when I took it over to the Manx GP and has sat in my lounge ever since.
Every part used was either brand new or professionally refurbished.
Specification
Norton slimline frame, Dresda swinging arm, uprated roadholders with billet alloy yokes. Koni adjustable rear shocks. Suzuki four leader front hub and rear hub. New alloy rims with heavy duty stainless spokes. New alloy short circuit Manx tank and oil tank.
The engine is a brand new Dave Nourish built NRE Weslake 850cc 8 valve 180 degree crank producing 90bhp. New Keihin carbs. Uprated Norton box with new Bob Newby heavy duty race clutch and belt drive.
Stator charging system. New Interspan race ignition. Bespoke stainless high level exhausts, alloy silencers with removable baffles. Bike is as new and barely run in, sounds and rides beautifully. Road registered but could easily be prepared for historic racing.
Price reflects the quality and spec of this rare motorcycle, a bare NRE 850 engine is well over £10k new and if you know these engines then you'll appreciate that Dave Nourish engines are far superior to the ones available now.
