Description
Rare and sought after, I lived in France and brought it to the UK when I moved back home.
All paperwork in order and bike has just gone through MOT with no advisories.
In 1988 Honda decided to launch to the market a road-legal version based on the Dakar bike, in celebration of its successes in competition. The Africa Twin XRV 650 RD03 in 1988 was introduced with a 650cc four-cylinder engine, producing 57 hp (42. 5 kW) at 8, 000 rpm with 52 Nm of torque at 6, 000 rpm, and with graphics inspired by the competition version.
The bike is road ready, pulls like a train! Sat at 4000rpm it sounds amazing when riding.
It’s 35 yrs old with just over 40k miles, nothing for this type of engine. It comes with some marks, I’ve purposely left the patina as is, it’s a great bike but I ride my 1986 xt350 so it’s time to let her go to someone that will ride it and cherish the history
