Not sold in UK. Originally built for Dakar, came out before the Africa Twin and cost a lot more to make. Africa was made then for mass market. These are air cooled, no cracked radiator problems. They are the more expensive shaft drive, no snapped chains or main sprocket screwing up output shaft!. Tank is big and has built in normal tap, no pump aggro. These feel way smaller and lighter than Africa Twin, much more nimble and user friendly. Engine is different also from Africa, runs like a watch, and picks up heels well.
Selling for no money as need funds for another bike. Bargain bike.

Same spec really as the BMW R80GS, and check the value of them.
This was brought in from France in 1996. V5 at the time said/ says "declared manufactured 1989" which is obviously wrong, as stopped making them in 1986. Can get altered if wished with VJMC dating cert. 3 years nearer Historic.
New MOT this week. Has recent tyres, battery, oil, filter.
