It started out as a 1985 prototype carrera clubsport, ROW spec car ordered through Holberts motors in Warrington, Philadelphia USA, it’s effectively a race car on the road, only 2 were made and this is number 2.
It then In later life underwent an incredible RUF style conversion to 993 Turbo R spec, twin turbo motor, 6 speed transaxle and full steel 993 wide body conversion.
Ruf factory new build turbo R cars sell for up to £800, 000 today so this represents great value given the rarity of the clubsport chassis alone.
full roll cage, rear space frame, 3. 3 twin turbo motor with twin plug heads, 950cc injectors, twin gt30 turbos, 38mm wastegates, water cooled inter cooler, dry sump with twin oil coolers, making close to 700bhp, G50 6 speed transaxle, Bilstein coil overs, xenon lights, Race pack instruments with multi screens and all the data you need, painted in nardo grey. Sitting on 15” wide rear wheels and 13” wide fronts to try and keep it planted, Beautiful hand stitched suede interior trim with red stitching, recaro fia approved seats and harnesses.
The machine that exists today is a real part of porsche history with the added bonus and rarity of the Turbo R twin turbo conversion. It’s truly a one off car and can only appreciate in value.
