Cast your mind back to 1991 at the Suzuka race track in Japan. It is the famous annual 24hr Endurance Race. Suzuka is Honda's very own track so it is important for them to win. So they drafted in the big guns, namely one Michael Doohan and his compatriot Wayne Gardner to race the mighty RC45 OKI Endurance Race Bike. For sale here, we have a tribute to that race bike. Based on a VFR750 RC36, it uses only the engine and frame from the base bike. Everything else has been thrown away and replaced by something lighter, better, more effective, more focused etcetera. Specification includes 45mm Upsidedown Forks with adjustment for preload, compression and rebound damping. Brembo Mono Block Calipers, Adelin Master Cylinders, Hydraulic Clutch with Clear Clutch Cover, Pro CNC Racing Rear Caliper, PSM Master Cylinder with DBR Rearsets. Rear Suspension is Ohlins with electronically adjustable Preload and Compression and Rebound Damping. The RVF750 RC45 style bodywork is by Airtech and the Exhaust System is a bespoke design with the rear cylinders exiting under the rear seat fairing and the front cylinders exiting on the right hand side. The Dash readout is by Acewell showng RPM, Speed and Engine temperature. The bike has a full complement of lights and turn signal indicators so is completely road legal and will be supplied with a fresh MOT when sold.
