As a true tribute to its predecessor, the majestic 300 SL, the SLS Coupe and its super pure design does not leave anyone indifferent. It is fitted with a high performance engine, consisting of a V8 with two ACT per bench and 32 valves developing 571 hp at 6, 800 rpm, which enables it to belong to the very exclusive club of cars that can exceed 300 km/ h. It reaches it quite comfortably with a top speed of 317 km/ h and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/ h in 3. 8s. Its seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox enables ultra-fast shifts and the driver has the choice between several driving modes.
Our magnificent SLS coupe was delivered new in Holland in an extremely rare version, with its engine prepared by Brabus rebored in 6. 3L as opposed to the classic AMG version of 6. 2L. A small Brabus sticker affixed in the engine bay also indicates the maximum speed of 320 km/ h instead of the 317 km/ h stated by the manufacturer in its classic AMG version. The difference is not considerable but makes this SLS a rare car in this first version with phenomenal torque and a sober bodywork. It has had only three Dutch owners (including the current one) and was serviced by Mercedes. Servicing records are complete and tracked. It now has a mileage of just under 43, 500 km to date. It is both an impressive car to drive and an easy one to drive on a daily basis. Equipped with Bang & Olufsen audio, bi-xenon headlights, anti-theft and burglar alarm, AMG spoke rims, an audio system with DVD player… In a gorgeous grey colour, its bodywork has the same butterfly doors reminiscent of the 300 SL, its illustrious predecessor. They open into an interior fitted with a black Dinamica headliner and the exclusive Havana leather upholstery; fittings which exude a refined sporty atmosphere. To conclude, here is a very high-level machine, able to compete with the most amazing supercars, offered in a desirable original condition. To collect urgently!
