Description
Humber Sceptre MKII manual overdrive, first registered 01/ 03/ 1966. Finished in Red with Black trim complimented by rostyle wheels fitted with excellent tyres. The original wheels are also included and also have good tyres fitted. This is a tidy usable sporting saloon, the car has just had a full professional engine rebuild by Park & Welch at a cost of £3, 500 . A new exhaust system was fitted in 2018. It starts on the button and has electronic ignition fitted. The car drives well with a responsive engine, nice gear-change and working overdrive. These sporting Humber's are a real delight to drive. The car comes with some spares, drivers handbook, workshop manual, some old MOT certificates and several invoices. A great stylish starter classic with the benefit of having just undergone a full engine rebuild.
The engine was rebored and block re-faced, four new pistons fitted, crankshaft reground and new bearings fitted, new cam bearings fitted, new timing chain and tensioner, new water pump, new rocker shafts fitted, head checked, skimmed and fitted with new valve guides, all new gaskets and seals fitted. All this was at well over cost of over £3500
