1955 ISO ISOCARRO 500 For Sale

This model was part of a batch of several examples built by ISO for AGIP, which in 1955 launched a new product on the market, gas cylinders for domestic use. Around 40 examples were set up by Carrozzeria Boano and entrusted by AGIP to artists of the time to create paintings with their own interpretation for the product launch. This example was entrusted to the famous cartoonist Grazia Nidasio, cartoonist and editor of the Corriere dei Piccoli. Nidasio produced nine oil paintings narrating a beautiful story featuring a housewife, the devil and the Agip Gatto, at the time the symbol of Agip Gas, which in turn was designed by Federico Seneca in 1951.
An original Lecce plate, it was totally restored five years ago, including the oil paintings, which were taken care of by two master restorers.
