This original 1965 Mustang Fastback is a well-known entrant in the Tulip Rally and other Dutch mild Rally events. A ground up rebuild and preparation was performed in 2018 at expenses of well over 120K. The car was entered in the 2019 edition of the famous Carrera Panamericana but participation had to be cancelled due to personal circumstances.
The preparation included the installation of a new 320HP 289Ci engine, a new Heavy-duty gearbox, Limited slip differential, uprated brakes, uprated suspension, a full ultra-strong FIA spec Roll cage as well as FIA approved seats and 100Ltr ATL tank capacity.
We have done the “Panam” several times and think it should be on every Petrolhead’s Bucket list.
This “Shelby” offers safety, reliability, and remarkable agility.
