Beschreibung
A rare example of a beautifully preserved pre-war Lancia Aprila. The car was produced in 1938 and registered on 15 February 1939, and has a very interesting history. The chronological record shows various changes of ownership from its first registration until 1954 and a registration of the car in the Free Territory of Trieste. After that the car remained in a Trieste depot until its discovery in 1977 by Giancarlo Cappa, a recognised Lancia restorer (his company was called KCA), who managed to recover it and sold it to the current owner, who has owned it since April 1979. The car's number plate is a black '79, but the plates of the free territories of Trieste Tale Aprilia were preserved, so at the turn of the late '70s and early '80s the car underwent a major restoration, for which there is still a detailed estimate, and which brought to the present day a car in a very good state and in perfect working order. Since then the current owner has used the car for car rallies and regularity races. The car was also exhibited in 1982 at an important exhibition of the 1930s in Milan, the documentation for which is preserved. ASI-certified since 1982 with homologation certificate No. 1040. The car exudes an old-world charm and elegance with some fine details in its interior. A 1000-mile winner, it remains a perfect car for any regularity race. The Aprilia marks both the end of a historic phase for Lancia and the beginning of a new one. It is a technologically refined car, with a load-bearing body, a compact V-shaped engine and independent four-wheel suspension, innovative also in its particularly aerodynamic lines. The car can only be seen by appointment at our headquarters. Thanks to our technical assistance and restoration workshop, it is possible to inspect it with our professionals, who can provide any technical details.
