For sale 1972 Norton Commando 750SS, Street Scrambler. This is a genuine UK matching numbers 750SS from new. The Norton was first registered in May 1972. The SS Commando is one of the rarest models, and are rarely offered for sale, and ones that are, are most certainly imports. The Commando doesn’t have the original high front mudguard and twin highline exhaust pipes fitted. Being a UK bike from new, the dealership that originally sold the Commando, may have fitted a standard low front mudguard and standard Commando exhaust pipes, to achieve a sale, as the SS were an acquired taste at the time. The period fairing shown in the photos, was also fitted to the Commando, when we collected it. This may also have been fitted when the bike was new, as the Commando had been in the same family ownership from new. The Commando has nice patina and will require recommissioning, has it hasn’t been on the road for a number of years. The SS Commando is now considered a very rare and desirable classic Norton.
