Here we have a beautiful 1955 Austin Healey 100/ 4 BN1 in Old English White with Red trim and hood. The prettiest of all the Austin Healey cars. Powered by the torquey 2660cc, 4 cylinder engine and driven through the trusty 3 speed gearbox. Sitting on beautiful painted wire wheels in body colour and finished off with a louvered bonnet and leather strap. This example is a car we have sold before and has been subjected to a full restoration to a very high standard. A few subtle upgrades are featured on the car, but the emphasis was to keep it original. The brakes are as standard with brake drums all round. The last few years have seen the car used by its previous owner on only dry days. Regularly serviced and MOT’d with paperwork to match. Recent work includes a new scroll seal in the gearbox and four new Avon tyres. With only 10, 000 BN1 Healey’s made from 1953 to 1956, this example is a rarer classic than either the MGA and Triumph TR3. A beautiful driving car. More images coming soon.
