Automotive perfection, an automobile that operates with such precision, that is the only way to describe it. That is how the Lexus SC430 has been described, and it still applies today. We have never seen a car built to such high quality standards, an automobile that basically shows no wear over time, and operates just as smoothly and perfectly as it did when it was built. It really is amazing how well these cars stand up to time when they are properly maintained.
Presented here is an all original 22, 000 mile example. Delivered new at Lexus of Westport on March 8th 2005, this Lexus has a long history as being well maintained at Lexus dealers. According to Carfax, its previous owners lived in Connecticut and it was serviced at Lexus of Westport and later on Lexus of Greenwich. When we received the car we did our usual thorough inspection. It only needed an oil/ filter change and rear brake pads. Everything else on the car was up to date and in perfect working order. Such minor service needed is a testament to how well it had been maintained over the years.
Everything on this SC430 is close to perfect. The Millennium Silver paint just gleams and is almost completely free of any imperfections. The chrome sparkles and has no pitting. Inside the Ecru leather seats show no signs of wear. The same for the door panels, dashboard, sun visors etc. The Birdseye Maple wood is beautiful and free of any cracks, chips or fading. Driving this car is exactly as you would imagine. The 300 horsepower 4. 3 liter V8 is so smooth you can barely feel it idle. When you accelerate it has strong smooth power and barely perceptible shifts from the 5 speed automatic transmission. The air conditioning blows out ice cold and the engine temperature never goes above normal. The original mark Levinson audio system sounds beautiful and the top works perfectly. Literally this is a car you could jump into and drive across country in and do it with confidence.
As you would expect, all the original accessories come with this Lexus. They include,
• original owners' portfolio and all of the owners manuals in the owners kit
• 3 keys, 2 masters and one wallet
• 4 floor mats
• trunk mat with the proper netting
• first aid kit
• original window sticker
• clean Carfax
• documentation of the work we performed
This Lexus is 100% turnkey and ready for its new owner. As time goes on these cars are getting harder and harder to find, and very rare with these miles. This is a car that can be driven daily and only requires minimal maintenance. Literally a time capsule this car is for somebody who only wants the best.
