1930 Austin 7 ‘Roll Top’ Newspaper Delivery Van
Beautifully crafted to an exacting specification, this delightful Austin 7 Van with ‘roll top’ rear door has been created by a skilled and knowledgeable Austin 7 enthusiast.
She is a replica of the once familiar small newspaper delivery vans used by the Kent Messenger and many others regional papers across the country.
Built on a 1930 chassis and working from a couple of surviving photographs, this little van is a delight in every detail and is unique as no originals are known to have survived. A useful tool box has been created and secured on the load floor.
She is provided with a large photo album showing all the stages of the build from the chassis upwards. Numerous letters and notes and other articles of interest are also supplied in the file.
