This Suzuki GS500E is in exceptional condition, my MOT man commented immediately.
Passed a new MOT with no advises on 13th Sept 2023.
It has the original Owners Manual and a sales advertisment sheet with it, original tool kit too!!! I have a 2nd seat modified which personally I feel is more comfortable.
The machine is absolutely lovely all round, I have never made my mind up in my time with it whether it has been painted or not, it is a very original look and a good time ago. The paint is almost mint and stunning, all decals laquered in and a lovely Candy Red colour.
It has correct parts including the original exhaust system in great order.
The previous owner did lots, pair of new decent tyres, much repainted professionally including wheels, yolks and various bits. A new old stock rear luggage rack and new brake discs, calipers overhauled etc. The battery holds charge but if I am picky I am not convinced how good it is.... hard to tell because it starts so quickly on the button!
The miles register as only 27, 000 and I see no reason not to believe it but there is little history to be certain although mot history evidences much.
It starts well on the electric starter and rides spot on and is smooth with really good brakes being disc front and rear.
It really is super tidy and ready to use and enjoy, other than going mad with polishing to brighten it further it wants for nothing it seems. If I were to do anything I would repaint the black headers and also detail the engine a little. I feel it is a great value machine.
I had bought this as my own inexpensive user but it turns out the mot expired in March and I just used my other older toys! I will happily keep it for myself having done the Mot if it does not find a new home quickly, it is that nice.
