Ford Escort MK5 1. 8 TDi LX. This car is showing 17499 miles from new, which we believe to be correct. It was off road for many years, stored somewhere and was recommissioned in January 2022. We have the V5 with it and it comes MOTd till Jan 2024. The car is ready to drive away and will likely go anywhwere. It does have a few scuffs n scratches and minor rust strating. If someone was to tidy the paintwork up youd have areally nice low mileage old car.
Body - MK5 Escort . Good underneath, underbonnet, inner wings, floors, bootwell. Really solid old car. Bit paint flaking and surface rust on front wings, evidence of a bit diy paintwork on passenger side door bottoms. Its perfectly useable as it is but if you wanted it mint youd be into a bit paintwork.
Mechanics - All original and starts runs and drives as it should. Engine is quiet, gearbox, clutch and brakes are all good as they should be for this mileage. Everything appears to work. Airbag light flashes occasionally
Interior - Again as it left the factory and very tidy and clean. Radio not working otherwise lovely inside.
Wheels - Standard steels with original wheel trims which are a bit bruised. Good tyres.
