Description
Today I present to you a real gem: the 1993 Ford ****** RS Cosworth, one of the masterpieces of the Nineties.
2. 0 turbo engine delivering 220 bhp
5-speed manual gearbox and permanent four-wheel drive.
A car always Italian-registered, *** provincial plate, well known in Ford circles for the quality of the work and for the history of true passionate owners.
Over time it has undergone a restoration and a full technical overhaul, carried out *** criteria and high-level components.
Engine rebuilt in the original Cosworth configuration, ***:
• Cosworth pistons
• Balanced crankshaft
• Head gasket with rings
• ARP studs
• Cosworth head, rockers and valves
Tuning and head gasket carried out by Bulldozer (around 5 years ago)
At the rebuild the engine had around 3, 500 km, plus later amateur use.
After the mechanical part, the electronics were also looked after, bringing power to around 320 HP: not extreme, but much fuller and more enjoyable to drive.
• Quaife front and rear limited-slip differentials
• Gearbox and differentials refurbished
• Reinforced chassis
• Powerflex and Uniball
• Recast floors
• Group A carbon airbox
• Group A radiators for water, intercooler and turbo
• 18” wheels homologated on the plate
• The original 16” wheels are also available
• Original seats available
• Deep-dish steering wheel
This ****** has a presence that few cars have today.
The dark colour *** the bronze wheels recall rally Cosworths from the late ’90s: savage, clean, credible.
It’s not a Cosworth for tuning, but a car built properly, *** serious components and a real history.
And above all it’s one of those ****** that hold and increase their value over time.
