It was meant to develop 340 hp per tonne but Lotus teams did not manage to achieve that. They therefore decided to produce 340 examples of this model which was fully consistent with the brand's spirit and with its 177hp for approximately 675kg: "Light is right". This particular model even had some improvements, such as the use of aluminium parts to save an additional 25kg! Fun is guaranteed at the wheel of this surprising "Number 46" roadster and at the first turn of the key, it intoxicates you with its thundering noise! With its low driving position, bucket seats and no doors, you easily step into the boots of a racing driver. Mounted here with optional Technomagnesium rims, 4 tyres dating from 2020 which have barely been used and equipped with MMC brakes, the driver is protected by carbon mudguards (original on the first 50 numbered units only). The car arrived from England in 2015 and its current owner (major enthusiast of the brand) had both the interior and exterior colours changed. Let's remind ourselves that it was not possible to choose any colour combination other than the grey for the bodywork and blue for the interior when it was released. It now has the GP Edition black colour from Lotus and the black Alcantara with gold stitching, which is an evocation of the Lotus JPS Formula 1 cars. Regularly serviced at the Lotus dealership in Pont L'Eveque, this 340R has a mileage of only 34, 015 miles (approximately 54, 000 km) and has a full history documented since its purchase invoice!
