Just 1 of 10 examples built, this Ariel Atom has received some upgrades courtesy of Honda?s favoured tuning partner, Mugen. The Type R engine inside the Mugen gets an upgraded 270bhp, compared to the standard 245bhp of the ?regular? Atom, which gets the car from 0-62mph in just 2. 9 seconds ? comparable to the AMG One, 296 GTB, and McLaren Senna. Fast. Stupidly Fast. And all in a package that weighs 550KG dry. There is no doubt that driving the Mugen will give an unparalleled driving experience. The exo-skeleton construction paired with a Formula 1 style bell-cranked suspension makes this a true race car for the road. This theme is continued into the interior, or lack thereof.
