This 911 takes individuality to a whole new level. Transformed into a very distinctive one-off, underneath this guise is a genuine, matching numbers, 1992, 'C20' Netherlands spec 964 Carrera RS.
Whilst the purists may not approve, it does possess the ability to easily return to its original state.
The Murano green jacket comes courtesy of a clever Paint Protection Spray; acting as both a protective barrier and a non-invasive way to make a colour change, it can be simply peeled off to reveal the original Guards red bodywork below.
The interior remains true to the authentic 'less-is-more' RS ethos, the only concessions being additional lightweight electric air conditioning and a Bluetooth speaker system.
It has been enhanced from the factory spec black and grey, to a stylish nod to the past. Two-tone basket weave leather in' Cafe Latte' for the new Recaro Pole Position seats, dash trim and bespoke door cards, blending perfectly with Oatmeal box weave carpets throughout, including under the front bonnet.
Murano green highlights appear via the seatbelts, door pulls and rear shelf embroidery, and a leather-bound Momo Prototipo steering wheel completes the picture.
Again, this custom look can be easily returned to factory; all the original components were carefully removed and safely stored, and will be supplied with the car as part of the sale.
The wheels are the 17 inch Magnesium Cup Design originals.
The RS was developed as a road-going version of the Porsche 964 Cup racer; 260 bhp, a lightweight flywheel, limited slip diff, lowered and stiffened suspension and stripped of the 'unnecessaries'. It is held in great esteem by experts and enthusiasts across the world, with legendary status as one of Stuttgart's finest.
This particular example stands apart from its brethren, offering a unique mix of (reversible) style with unspoilt RS character.
Complete with original book pack, service book and manuals (including RS supplement), double keys, spare wheel, compressor, toolkit, warning triangle and first aid kit.
Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. The history folder contains invoices and receipts covering its life in the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK, and suggest 6 keepers in total.
