Brabus, a renowned high-performance tuning company based in Bottrop, Germany, has a rich history dating back to 1977. Founded by Bodo Buschmann, the company's name is a portmanteau of his last name and 'Brabant', a region in Belgium. Brabus initially focused on refining and enhancing Mercedes-Benz vehicles, eventually establishing a strong partnership with the automaker. Over the years, Brabus has become synonymous with extreme power and luxury. They have pushed the boundaries of automotive engineering, specializing in customizing Mercedes-Benz cars to deliver exceptional performance, innovative design, and luxurious interiors. The company is known for its ability to extract astonishing power from factory engines, earning them a reputation as one of the world's leading high-performance tuning experts.
This car was originally ordered as an SL600 and sent to Brabus directly by Mercedes-Benz, who set about enlarging the 5. 5 litre V12 to 6. 3 litres increasing the cylinder bores to 83mm with Mahle pistons and a bespoke one-piece crankshaft is fitted along with new camshafts. All of this engineering increases power to 631bhp and 1036Nm of torque. In order to enable the car to actually put down all of this immense power, a Brabus self-locking differential has been fitted. The Brabus goodies don't stop there though, Brabus upgraded the suspension, exhaust system, wheels and bodykit. The original car was fitted with beautiful carbon fibre interior trim including heated carbon fibre steering wheel, SatNav, heated and cooled memory seats, parking distance control and many other features. The car now presents in excellent condition throughout in highly attractive Green Black Metallic with an exclusive grey leather interior. The car is supplied with a UK V5C registration certificate, MoT test certificate, and a record of various works over the years including 11 services at Mercedes-Benz main agents and one extra at Hexagon Classics.
