A perfect car coming with an incredible set of restoration bills covering over £40k for parts alone! Needless to say this is a perfect car with everything possible that could be done having been done & thus it is is not far off the equivalent of buying a new Morgan. The supplying dealers plaque is found on the dash board as is an HRD Vincent logo so we assume the previous owner was also a motorcyclist. Owning and riding a Vincent as I do I can assure you he was clearly a man of some taste.
The car has been finished to a very high standard in a mid blue non metallic which suits it very well. To the interior are pale blue leather front & rear seats along with grey carpets. Under the bonnet sits the fully rebuilt Triumph TR2 engine in a highly detailed & immaculate engine bay. A kenlowe fan with rheostat has also been fitted to assist with cooling on hot days in traffic. Twin driving lamps linked to the main beam have been installed up front & a reversing light to the rear. A close to new condition Mohair hood is found under the snug fitting hoood cover.
All chrome work was been removed & replated. The car sits on a set of new Chrome wire wheels with knock off spinners. A simply massive history file comes with the car detailing fully the eye watering expenditure lavished upon the car. There is also a book of minutely detailed notes documenting the works done to the car along with annotations for the incremental expenditures. The odometer was zeroed at the time of restoration & now reads a scant 19, 156 miles.
The car has a large luggage rack making it well suited to touring. Dual spare wheels sit under the luggage rack. There is also ample room on the rear seats for extra luggage should it be required. The car starts readily & makes all the right noises. Being so light it has excellent performance allied to very nimble handling.
