1933 MG J2 unrestored.
Last owned for more than 70 years by a well known local engineer and garage proprietor.
It was repainted in its original colour back in 1953 and well maintained but little used thereafter.
It has never been welded and the original body has only surface rust in places where the paint has lifted. The chassis is totally rust free. The wooden frame is original and sound.
We aquired the car from the deceaced owners estate.
It hadn't been started for quite a while, so as a precaution the engine was stripped, cleaned, checked and rebuilt, only needing seals and gaskets.
Gearbox, clutch, drivetrain, steering etc. are all good.
The whole car shows little wear in any of its components.
The original fuel tank has been professionally repaired and painted.
It is now on the button and drives as it should.
The V5 is in my name. It is Tax and MOT exempt.
