According to many, the most beautiful 911 series there is and also a very honest example. If you are looking for a very good and neat 964, this may well be a case of ‘getting it’.

In 1989, Porsche introduced the new 911, referred to by Porsche itself as 964. The shape of the body remained relatively unchanged, but the typical 80s features such as the rubber harmonica bumpers made way for smoothed-out models. As a result, the model still makes a modern impression even today.

Not only the looks were new, no less than 85% of the car was different, according to Porsche. An automatically deployable rear spoiler, an even thicker six-cylinder boxer and optional tiptronic gearbox were the most obvious changes. Welcome adjustments in an otherwise still classic Porsche. Also new for this series is the optional four-wheel drive, called Carrera 4.

Although the Tiptronic gearbox provides comfort, the purist’s wishes today are fairly clear: a five-speed manual gearbox. Exactly the ‘box’ that can be found in this Carrera, but with four-wheel drive. Now the choice between a coupe and a convertible is of course purely taste-related, but when we see this coupe we become very enthusiastic, such a dense 911 is incredibly beautiful in terms of lines.

We have a real ‘matching colours’ 911 here. The paint color (Amazon Green, L37Z) matches the black half-leather interior with the typical Porsche stop with the Porsche letters placed diagonally. The interior is in a particularly neat condition, with the steering wheel, the gear knob and the electrically adjustable seats showing correct (very minor) signs of wear that match the mileage. In combination with the silver-gray cup wheels in beautiful condition, an exceptionally fresh appearance.

The paint of the 964 can be described as ‘pure’. The deep shine and color, which is blue or green depending on the light, the condition: beautiful. If you walk around the car you will probably conclude, just like us, that the car has a very honest appearance. We hardly need to talk about the condition: it is worthy of enthusiasts and you can hardly see the 189 thousand kilometers that the car has driven.

The 3. 6 liter M64 engine made its debut in the 964, with a power of 250 hp and torque of 310 Nm. High values when the first owner picks up this stylish 911. The top speed is 257 km/ h! The 964 Carrera 4 has been neatly maintained and drives great. Power, torque and flexibility combined with the solidity and feeling that Porsche knows how to incorporate into all its cars: a pleasure for sporty drives but also long distances. The Porsche comes with a folder with documentation such as maintenance invoices, reports and the original booklets that are neatly stamped by the dealers where it was maintained.

In summary, we can only conclude that this is a very original and correct example, with an incredible appearance and wonderful driving characteristics.
