SOLD Very original, unmolested Range Rover Classic. Originally from France so left hand drive, delivered new by renowned Rolls Royce/ Bentley/ Ferrari dealership Franco Brittannic Automobiles in Paris. Car was exported to Ireland in 2013 en is now currently on Dutch registration. First registered in December 1983, it's a model year 84, Four door car with automatic gearbox.
Original 3, 5 liter V8 on twin stromberg carbs running well. Original, indestructible 3 speed Chrysler Automatic works well with smooth up and down shifts and working kickdown. Factory airconditioning (currently not working). Even the original Blaupunt Bremen radio cassette is still in place. The seats are still the original velour cloth, without rips or tears, which is a testament to that the car was kept well. The only modification is the fitting of 4 electric windows.
The car was stored inside for a while in Ireland but everything has been recommissioned, replaced or reconditioned where needed to meet the current Dutch MOT, valid until 2026. Complete new exhaust front to back, new front shocks, original 3-bolt steering box is completely reconditioned with new pitman arm. Only issue with the car is that the low gearing mechanism is stuck because of lack of use. Brake pads have been renewed, but ideally the front right disc would need replacing in the near future. A brand new set of 4 new brake discs/ calipers/ pads comes with car!!
