We recently made a very nice barn find in the north of France, where we found 6 Mehari's in a tiny village in a large dry barn. 4 pieces belonged to the French army with the 24 volt installation and various specific details that come with it, and 2 more standard Mehari's. They ended up in the shed a long time ago and are all nice basic Meharis for restoration. Some of this lot will be for sale, others we will restore ourselves.
This Mehari was recently imported to the RDW and provided with a Dutch passenger license plate and inspected, so the restoration can start immediately. The Mehari is as good as complete, conversion to 12 volts is of course no problem. Chassis and frame need work. Technology needs to be checked, it is not running at the moment. Nice, clear winter job.
