1996 RENAULT CLIO 16V PROJECT
Another one of our project cars we are selling is this very rare phase 2 clio 16v.
Please note this is definitely NOT a weekends work!
Genuine low mileage of just 79000, which we have verified via a full mileage check with motor check where it displays zero discrepancies .
The interior trim as a whole is in very good order the only notables being a split to the base of the drivers seat and the glue has come away on the door card inserts as well as the obligatory speaker holes in the rear parcel shelf.
This has not been on the road for a number of years and will require a thorough mechanical reconditioning - brakes , big engine service , cam belt and water pump , there is a full set of new suspension that is included in the sale (as pictured)
There is some welding required to the body also as you can see from the pictures. The passenger side is very good but the drivers side has a decent bit of rust and will require a full new sill , inner and outer rear wheel arch panel, nothing else obvious that we have spotted on the chassis but please bear in mind it is a project so I dare say you will come across some other repairs .
This is the only clio 16v I can find for sale anywhere so is a great opportunity for someone , we sold a restored phase 1 car for £15k last year so this is good value for someone .
As we are looking to clear our storage we are ideally not looking for a part exchange but may consider something if the deal works for us .
