This well Riley MPH reconstruction has been built to a very high standard and purchased by the vendor in 1998.
It has all the correct details and is registered as Sports on the V5c together with a VSCC buff form.
The engine is a powerful 12/ 4 1500cc modified by specialist Keith Pointing.
Modifications include:

Ported head
Inlet valves increased to 15/ 16ths
Hardened valve seats
Omega pistons
Phoenix conrods
Baffled sump
Carburetors replaced by SU 1¼ inch
Skimmed brake drums and linings replaced by Gordon Middleton
Driving through a pre-selecta gearbox with a rear axle ratio of 5:1
On the rolling road the car develops 77 bhp at 5000 rpm at the rear wheels.
