What a special and unique find! Once again we were able to purchase a Honda S800, and this time with a special story. We can safely say that we have a soft spot for these cars, we have already sold more than ten of these cars, several of which we have restored.

We found and purchased this red car through a tip within the Honda network. This concerns the last S800 that was registered in the Netherlands. In 1969 it was purchased new by the Dutch Honda importer from a dealer in France. He subsequently spent two years in the showroom at Honda in Ridderkerk. Ultimately the car was purchased by the warehouse man and he owned it for a long time. After many years of use, it was decided to completely take it apart and restore it. However, it was not allowed to get to that point because the owner died during this process. After the project had been in storage for a number of years, it was purchased by a member of the Dutch S800 club. We can say that he completely restored the car to “as new “ condition. The body was completely sandblasted and protected extremely well. Subsequently sprayed red in a three-layer system, giving the car its intense red color. The chassis was also sandblasted and completely technically rebuilt. Nothing was skipped and of course the engine and gearbox were completely overhauled. Because the car was in such good condition before the restoration started, it was ultimately rebuilt with many original parts. Only carpet, headliner and seat upholstery were replaced.

The results are impressive! This S800 is ready for the new owner in very nice condition and without a mile driven after the restoration. We would like to invite you to view it in our showroom and let you hear the fantastic engine sound. Goosebumps guaranteed because of the high-revving sound that this little pocket rocket produces. Due to the low numbers sold in Europe, it is also a rare appearance and a very stable investment.
