Not only does it have a full main dealer or Jaguar specialists service history, its last owner in Herne Bay Kent is a classic car enthusiast who has kept the car detailed and in top class condition without expense spared throughout ownership. The last owner has had seven years of enjoyment from the XK8 and now changes it for a 1960’s Jaguar Saloon that we have recently supplied. It arrives with 72000 warranted miles.
The service history is impressive with stamps in the service book at 12742, 24223, 31458, 39026, 49072, 57944, 60126, 62703, 64792, 66509, 69589 and most recently at 71047 miles. Invoices since 2016 showing the care and attention given to the car totalling a staggering £12500. This includes a full body cavity waxoyl, regular servicing with Guy Salmon Jaguar Maidstone and Jaguar specialists, new park aid sensors, rear anti-roll bar bushes, suspension V mounts, front shock absorber bushes, a power hood fluid flush and re-bleed, a couple of new tyres and recently a brand new Mechatronic unit for the gearbox.
Our XK8 presents in showroom condition with an excellent bodyshell, stunning paintwork and fabulous original interior – the upholstery is beautifully kept, we didn’t need to even valet it on arrival and its very clear this is a nurtured, incredibly well cared for car. The alloy wheels are excellent, the hood superb and the detail under the bonnet and in the boot area is very sharp. On the road the XK8 offers exceptional performance, its quick, comfortable and luxurious as one would expect.
