This rare Italo-English car with British Leyland mechanics and a coachwork designed by Bertone, is a Swiss delivered example, first registered on the 1st August 1978 and delivered to the first owner through Garage Waeny AG in Wabern near Bern. He loved his little rocket with its cheeky air intake on the bonnet and made sure, the car was regularly maintained. Around 1992, he finally parked the DeTomaso in his garage where it remained until February of this year. Then the Innocenti was sold to the second and so far last owner who carefully recommissioned the little car. The service booklet and the emission control document would indicate the 93’600 kilometres to be true. Therefore, the Mini is in very good and well-maintained original condition. The 1’275cc engine is running perfectly and the four-speed gearbox is shifting smoothly. The original 12-inch aluminium rims were shod with a set of new tires. The last veteran MOT was finally completed in May 2023.
