Here we have a stunning condition P38 4. 6 HSE It has unbelievably covered 198k miles and has been kept in immaculate condition and has been maintained with no expense spared. The previous owner has literally spent thousands on it. There is an accompanying folder of receipts and service history and 2 keys
Interior
The interior is in amazing condition, none of the seats show any signs of wear and the drivers seat is still in great condition, wouldn't be surprised if it has been replaced from a lower mileage car, The dashboard is absolutely perfect with the original Clarion stereo with Harman Kardon speakers and sub al working perfectly. There are OE mats front and rear and carpets are perfect. It has had the headling replaced recently. Inside the boot it is all very clean and tidy, no damage or scratches to anything. There has been a second battery and split charge system fitted in the boot to allow constant 12V for cool box etc and it powers the fitted CB radio system. Parcel shelf present and tidy. There are also custom removable sunblinds, and importantly NO PRIVACY GLASS. Absolutely everything works, electric seats all windows, sunroof and Heater. Bodywork
The Bodywork is very clean and shows no signs of any damage other than slight stone chipping and some light scratches but all very minor. The car has been facelifted to look like the newer model with smoked lights, a black grill and larger 18 inch Mondial wheels, which are in perfect condition and fitted all round with fairly new General Grabber all Terrain tyres. There two small rust spots which I have photographed. There is an invoice recently for a new genuine tailgate as they are prone to corrosion, so that all done. It really looks the part, It currently has wheel spacers which in our opinion look great
Mechanicals / Chassis
The underside is as clean is the body and has clearly had lots of money spent on it. It looks to have been properly undersealed and its still good. All suspension bushes have been upgraded to orange (comfort) polybushes. Shocks and steering damper look new, all 4 airbags look fairly new and the air suspension all works as it should. Unbelievably the engine, gearbox, transfer and diff are all dry with no signs of leaks (and Yes there is oil in them lol). It is really quite impressive up on a lift. I have personally done about 1000 miles in it just to be certain everything is as good as it looks and Yes it is, drives superb, not using oil, coolant level not moved in 1000 miles and There is still £100 of Vmax in the tank
The car has been local to Glasgow for approx 10 years and has been MOTd at the same garage throughout. We called and asked the garage if they knew the car, and apparently it belonged to a retired engineer who did all his own maintenance and is only moving the car on as he struggles with mobility, it is quite high
Any inspection is encouraged. Do not let the mileage put you off, the car is a one off and would look great at a classic car show
