The Phase 2 Renault Clio V6 was launched in 2003 following on from the success of the Phase 1 in 2001. Bred directly from the race car, the 2, 964cc V6 engine mounted in the middle of the car - produces 255bhp creating a driving experience that can only be described as exciting. This by no means is the small family runaround that is usually associated with the Renault Clio.
This 2001 Clio V6 is presented in Illiad Blue Metallic with silver exterior trim. Inside is a black leather and alcantara interior with exterior colour coded trim. The bodywork is in excellent condition throughout with all panels, wheels and exterior trim presenting how a car on this mileage should.
The interior is pristine with no wear marks and together creates a race car atmosphere but with the practicalities appropriate for touring. The ride is superb for a car of this stature, comfortable yet dynamic when navigating all roads.
Just behind the front seats is of course its beating heart - the V6 power plant - the noise is superb. The car has been serviced regularly with invoices to demonstrate. The car underwent a major mechanical overhaul in 2021 previous to the second owners purchase. Accompanying the car are service records and invoices, MOT certificates, a current V5, the original bill of sale and all original book packs and document folder.
