Subaru Impreza Turbo 2000 AWD: 41k Miles/ Superb
The Subaru Impreza Turbo was arguably the car that defined the 1990’s.
It landed on UK shores during 1994 and quickly caught the imagination of a whole generation of petrolheads and computer gamers alike. The throbbing exhaust and turbo soundtrack that, in the hands of Colin McRae, never faced the way it was going made the WRX a man-made projectile that simply flew without wings. Check out the back-in-the-day videos.
Today original examples with provenance are incredibly rare and at Milestones we have never found a car that meets Jamie’s standards until this stunning car appeared on the Milestones “word-of-mouth” radar.
Our very late (Registered September 2000) first generation car is one of the most original, unmolested examples that you could wish to own. A personal import from Belgium (a husband & wife bought one each) they retained their Scooby’s until 2002. The third custodian bought the car in 2015 and is only marketing her to make space for another Milestones car.
The Impreza presents exactly as we like our cars. Unmolested, outstanding condition, good history, great driver and clearly always cherished.

The iconic metallic blue bodywork is set off perfectly by original gold alloys and under the bonnet the engine bay is super sharp.
Inside the car is simply like stepping back in time – the smell is evocative and everything is period correct.
On the road the car does not disappoint. Short gear-changes are the order of the day and the Impreza simply goes exactly where you point her very quickly with zero drama and maximum enjoyment.
In conclusion, they are as much fun as a Porsche 964 with similar 1990’s presence on the road - but - the Scooby will not spin you backwards into a tree if you get it wrong and all this is for around a quarter of the cost of a similar 911.
If you have never considered an Impreza now may just be the time to think again. You will not be disappointed…
