Originally registered on 5th October 1960 this Borgward presents very well. Clearly it has been studiously cared for by the very knowledgeable and enthusiastic owner. We are advised the bodywork received some attention in 2018, this appears to have been carried out to a very good standard. The mileage of 64, 549 appears to be correct, although not warranted. Mechanically, Borgward have a reputation for building reliable and uncomplicated cars. The four-cylinder 1500cc engine is a delightful unit, offering sufficient performance coupled with good fuel economy. This example benefits from a new headlining and carpets, a stainless-steel exhaust system has been fitted, together with 123 electronic ignition. The interior of this Borgward is spacious and comfortable, the dashboard almost has a retro-design to it. In right hand drive guise, this Isabella Combi is supplied with a V5C registration document together with some invoices.
