Selling on behalf of a customer this recently restored 1980 Ford Escort RS 2000 Custom. It has recently undergone a full nut and bolt restoration and a small fortune spent on it, which is detailed in the history. Its showing 09859 miles so presumably 109k miles and has had 9 previous owners. We have the V5 and a history folder. The car was off road for a long time and was put back on the road in 2018. In 2019 it was involved in a fire and an insurance pay out. This resulted in a CAT S being recorded against it. The car was bought back, stripped to a bare shell and totally redone. In the history file their is details of all the previous owners.
Body - Car was stripped to a bare shell and dipped and primed. It received a roof skin, wings, door skins, nosecone, and any opther repairs needed. It was fully repainted including the underneath which looks like its raptor coated or something similar. There is no rust on the car to be found. Paintwork is very nice and the car presents well. If im being super picky bonnet is sitting a wee bit high and needs adjusted down. Overall a really good looking car. All glass and seals were replaced during the restoration
Mechanics - Engine fully rebuilt by Headshop UK in Warrington, Everything else was either replaced or refurbished. There probably too much too list but includes, front bilsteins, rear Gaz shocks, all brakes, fuel and brake lines, vented discs and calipers, clutch cable, speedo cable, handbrake cable, clutch, radiator fan and way more.
Interior - Original seats which are all retrimmed in leather with Ford RS logos on them. They look really good. 4 Spoke RS steering wheel. Good door cards, dash top, headlining, carpet
Wheels - Refurbished 7" RS Ronals with 185 / 60 / 13 tyres which havent done a mile yet.
