The Speedster replica originated in the 1970�s with the original manufacturers using a shortened VW pan but not adequately reinforcing the body. This meant that these early examples were prone to body flex with improper body fittings and panel line-ups.
The car has a VW air cooled 1600cc 4 cylinder engine with only some 7K miles on it. The car has a 1963 Porsche title which represents the manufactured year of the original donor pan meaning the car is smog exempt.
The ''Burgundy' color paint is in absolutely beautiful condition and the Camel interior is also in as new condition throughout with no signs of wear.
