Restructuring of the Mini brand in 1969 simplified things to Mini Van and Mini Pick-up and in 1978, the commercial vehicles were renamed 'Mini 95' to reflect the 0. 95 ton gross weight of the van and pick-up and an 'L' pack was introduced in 1979
The 'L' pack consisted of houndstooth cloth centre sections to the seats, front carpets, a passenger sun visor and additional sound-proofing
This delightful Mini 95L is finished in Glacier White with a black vinyl interior and started life as a British Gas van
Restored to a lovely usable level by its current custodian during 2019
Upgraded 1, 275cc power plant with a 286 cam and an HIF44 carburettor
Heritage bonnet and rear doors fitted along with a new rear subframe
The front brakes were changed to discs and a new petrol tank, fuel lines and a new wiring loom were fitted
The whole car was then stripped right back and treated to a coat of fresh Glacier White
Finished off with a set of Cooper S replica alloys fitted with Dunlop Aquajet tyres
