We are delighted to present for sale, on behalf of a local customer, this stunning 1974 Land Rover® Series 3 - this vehicle has been subjected to a 3o00 hour two year restoration process, which is fully documented with receipts and photographs & has been rebuilt to the very highest of standards throughout. It is only being offered for sale due to a change of circumstances for the current owner.
In the restoration of this vehicle, it is no exaggeration to say that it was done without regard for cost whatsoever - and below is a selected list of items which were replaced on the vehicle - by no means a limited list, but to give the prospective new keeper an inclination of the levels the restoration has been carried out to:

As one can see - and this is just a small section of the works carried out - the detail here is jaw dropping - the sort of restoration one would expect to pay more than £45, 000 plus VAT for in the current market. When one considers the price this vehicle is offered at, we think it offers superb value for money for the new keeper, offering an almost identical product for effectively half the price! We've taken a few photos at the end of the gallery of the sheer volume and detail of the paperwork and provenance provided, so that you can marvel at it just like we have.
Externally, as the photos show, this really is a stunner indeed - all those new panels, with the professional spray finish and desirable extras including the bonnet spare, the wing top mounted mirrors, vintage number plates, rear mud flaps, recent bumper, re-galvanised cappings etc. We don't want to risk repeating ourselves, but the photos really speak for themselves - in our opinion this is a gorgeous Land Rover®.
On the inside, there are three recent front seats in the front, with deluxe matting to the footwells. All the dash etc was re-trimmed as part of the works carried out, and it looks great. An Evander Wood Steering Wheel from Exmoor Trim completes the look. In the rear, there are a pair of twin bench seats, which according to the current owner, have never been sat in... along with a cranking handle in the rear, and a floor mat to protect against scratches.
Out on the road, with a comprehensive rebuild of just about every available part, you can imagine how it feels to drive - of the period, but as good an example as we've ever had the pleasure to enjoy on the roads around our premises. There is no better version of period motoring in a Series 3 that we've experienced, outside of our own rebuild programme.
In summary, if you are looking for a Series 3 which has been fully rebuilt, with outstanding provenance to back it up, which can carry the whole family, in a stunning colour combination - this quite simply has to be the vehicle to buy. Although this truck doesn't come with our warranty applied as it is a customer car - you can rest easily in the knowledge that we've had the joy of looking after this car since it was rebuilt, and it has been cared for regardless of cost both during and after the rebuild.
