'Luxurious Exhilaration' - Stunning optional Classic Leather Pack - hand selected cashmere leather is extensively used throughout the passenger cabin of the XK8 and complimented with Burr walnut veneer and unmarked deep pile carpets with Jaguar branded luxury over-mats, pure elegance. Luxury electric and heated seats with 5 vertical flutes and plain leather centre panels have a firm but comfortable feel, the side bolsters give an extra feeling of security and that you're driving something very special.

All gauges and switches work as they were intended. The XK8 convertible comes complete with many key features such as automatic climate control, wood/ leather rim adjustable tilt and rake multifunction steering wheel, maple gear knob, cup holders, air filtration system, Jaguar premium sound system with 6-Disc CD autochanger... The list goes on and on, pure luxury.

Exterior

'A Unique Appeal' - Finished in factory Sherwood Green Metallic, the paintwork has a brilliant uniformed deep shine throughout. All original panels are perfectly straight, totally rust free and gaps as per it left the factory. All original lights front and rear are in exceptional order with uniformed colour and a silky polished finish. The optional contrasting green electric hood operates at the touch of a button swiftly, quietly, and smoothly the rear side windows glide out of sight. There's no evidence of wear it retains an even deep green finish, the Factory supplied cashmere tonneau cover unmarked.

Exterior features include: high level stop light, Bi-Xenon headlights, electric adjustable, heated and power fold mirrors, electric ariel, reverse park control, headlamp power wash... Wonderful.

'The Balance Of Power' 4. 0-litre V8 engine, 290 BHP, performs effortlessly whatever the pace, the silky smooth 5-speed automatic gearbox shifts exactly as it should. Power is usable, linear and smooth, hot or cold starting is instant and no problem. There are no adverse rattles, untoward noises or evidence of fluid leaks. The engine bay is exceptionally clean and detailed. Driving this Big Cat is simply a joy with a top speed limited to 155 MPH, it's a Grand Touring masterpiece.

The all important timing chain recall was completed by Ruette Braye Jaguar, Gurnsey, July 1999.

The car was bought back to the UK by the second keeper Mr David Kent on 1st March 2000. Mr Kent sold car to Mr Dainton on 15th February 2003 who has loved and cherished it to this day.

The history file is simply outstanding, containing the original 2 Jaguar keys, 2 Jaguar document folders with all official owner handbooks, original bill of sale, a comprehensive Official Jaguar Service record with an amazing 20 stamps to 45328 miles, original XK8 sales brochure, 20 past mot certificates, receipts and invoices for thousands of pounds worth of official Jaguar servicing and maintenance, it even has Jaguar screen wash and lubrication spray.
