This Alfa Romeo Alfetta Sedan 1. 8 is a smart and highly usable example of the characterful classic Italian sporting saloon, offered from long-term ownership and benefitting from restorative maintenance.
Under the bonnet sits a naturally aspirated 1. 8-litre twin-cam inline-four, delivering around 120hp to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.
This example was originally a German-delivered model, which was later imported back to Italy in March 1984, and was in long-term storage for 10 years until the seller and fourth owner purchased it in 2014.
Following the seller purchasing the car it underwent a long-term restoration over the seller’s 10 years of ownership.
The odometer shows 94, 223 Kms, however this is not warranted.
EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
This Alfetta Sedan 1. 8 is finished in the appealing hue of Pine Green, over a Havana brown cloth-trimmed interior with wood veneer trim inlays.
It rides on a set of 14-inch painted-steel wheels with polished centre caps, shod in Massimo Ottima Plus tyres.
The factory specification includes a heated rear screen, a three-spoke steering wheel, a Quartz analogue clock, blue Veglia Borletti gauges, heater and ventilation controls, and a fold-down rear armrest.
The car comes with a jack, a wheel wrench, and a spare wheel.

CONDITION
The seller notes previous areas of rust on the doors and around the lower windscreen and rear window surround, which were restored and repaired with new sheet metal.

Specific notes from the seller include: a small chip on the front of the bonnet, hairline cracks on the bonnet, small cracks on the dashboard, cracking on the radio compartment, and discolouration on the gear knob.
The seller is not aware of any mechanical or electrical faults.
The car’s last roadworthiness test was conducted in October 2023, which is understood to have resulted in a clean pass with no advisories.

This Alfetta’s most recent maintenance was carried out in October 2023 at an indicated 94, 220 Kms by Service Centre Mesagne, which consisted of a regular service.
