This is the 1965 model that comes with a number of improvements and small styling changes over the original 1963 models.

Finished in ‘Rally Red’ with white and black interior this really is one of the nicest specs for a C2.

As per the photos this underwent complete restoration, the exterior has had a full paint job, along with numerous replacement parts, such as various chrome parts and badges. The car presents very well. All the lights work as they should, the headlights pop up nicely. The convertible hood operates as it should, it is the original hood and in very good condition.

The interior has undergone a complete retrim, full white leather, looks very smart and works very well with the red exterior.

Engine was replaced with a new crate engine from Chevrolet, a 350cu (5. 7L), goes well and sounds fantastic (especially with the new SuperSprint exhaust system).

There are a few small things to point out, a mark to the paint on the tail (see photo) that the car got in storage, the fuel gauge is not working, however this seems to be a wiring issue, we haven’t had the time to set up the carbs properly, otherwise everything is working as it should, all the electrics, windows, door locks etc. Drives very well and has plenty of go, despite the carbs not being set up 100%. We have test driven it over a few 100 miles and it’s been perfect.

We have traded a few Corvettes over the years and in our opinion they are reliable classics and a great alternative to the more expensive European sport cars. This ticks all of the boxes, sexy curved, performance, handling and a great sound from both the engine and exhaust.
