1968 Mercury Cougar Restoration project
“R” San Jose built car
Original (black) Calif reg plate on the car
A whole bunch of trim and bits with the car. Trim for the glass, hood trim, engine bay braces, various other bits and bobs
Factory V8 in the engine bay, code “F”
Automatic (transmission is damaged)
Front disk brakes
Good Roller wheel and tyre has now replaced flat tyre in photos on that corner
Quite a solid car. Engine bay metal and inner fenders looks good
Boot floor needs some patching. Transition pan looks great
Floors, only welding that needs doing is a welding in of the passenger seat platform which was removed and repairs done to passenger front floors and some patching needed to the drivers side front floor. (I have a Mustang front pan in stock)
Front bumper missing.
A very doable project for not a lot of money
