So a 1990 TVR 350i Tasmin , what a noise this car has lain idle for 12 years in a collection and been resurrected a bit , first off pictures do flatter a bit , she's an old TVR and even perfect ones ,, well err aren't or its only temporary , they are a labour of love and with love they reward you with an old school driving experience to put a smile on your chops from ear to ear, this one has covered 63k and has an awful lot of history receipt's up to about 2004 , the original TVR book pack is with it as is the TVR service card with 7 stamps in , there is also all the TVR glossy brochures from its time.
So I've got it running , new battery fresh fuel, replaced some core plugs, flushed and replenished coolant , stripped and cleaned brake calipers as they were seized and fitted new seals to the front, gone through a good portion of the electrics and I think pretty much everything is working ,,, today , tomorrow may be a different story, fitted a new temp sensor, oil and filter , and taken for an MOT to get a list , which to my surprise it didn't in fact she passed ,
Chassis is good and there is a bill for Waxoil treatment in amongst which is probably why its saved it along with last 12 years in a dehumidified garage, the waxoil is flaking in a few places and it would be a good idea to re do it now ,
Roof whilst old is still in pretty decent nick back window still flexible and clearish
It will need paint to bring it up to scratch see video and pics its a great 5 yarder but lacquer flake and micro blisters are your new friend up front
Selling as a project ,, Why I hear you ask , well its a 34 year old car that has been asleep for an age , from experience things like rubber pipes etc can be perished , relays can let you down and it wants using a bit gingerly around your local area to iron out any faults that may occur , I don't want to warranty it or give the impression you can drive to the South of France in it tomorrow , you probably could make it but on the same token you might not and I don't want that call.
Sensible folk know exactly where I am coming from
Please come to see the beast it would be our pleasure to show it to you and make life so much easier and watch the video it will help I think
I have a large trailer and am happy to help deliver this project at a cost
Thanks for looking
