Vehicle history:
This Austin-Healey MK II was completely rebuilt by the Austin-Healey specialist Cape Sport in Coventry on the basis of a well-preserved MK II. All reasonable optimizations for the construction of this perfect Big Healey were installed, regardless of the costs. The engine has a 3-carburetor system and a manifold with side pipes. In addition, the engine was built up with parts from Denis Wesh and produces approx. 180 hp. A 5-speed Getrag gearbox, a spear differential, a sports suspension with telescopic dampers, a safety steering column, an aluminum radiator, an aluminum tank and a Kenlow fan are just some of the improvements made. This Healey is equipped with a detachable roll bar. This car is a very good example of how a vehicle can perform exceptionally well by optimizing and improving known weak points of the model.
