Great history
Here we have maybe one of the best examples of a Mercedes SLK we have seen in a long time. Finished in possibly the best colour combination of Brilliant silver with black leather, a classic choice for an SLK, this example has the mighty 3. 0 litre engine mated to the 7-speed automatic gearbox. A fantastic package with grace, power and the famous Mercedes smoothness.
The condition is lovely and has been the pride and joy of the vendor since he bought it in 2011, maybe boarding on obsessive, but that’s a good thing for the next owner of this SLK. The only reason it has come to market is because the vendor has retired and sold his business, and is about to travel around Europe (or maybe further) in a motorhome. Upon speaking to him, he may not even come back to the UK, hence he is very reluctantly letting his prized Mercedes go to a new home.
The service history is equally as impressive with a service book from Mercedes complete with all the instruction books and manuals nicely kept in the Mercedes zip up pack, and complete with 8 services covering the 32, 000 shown miles. This is backed up with a host of service receipts and bills, a collection of old MOTs that sit well with the fresh MOT, and tax discs. It even has its original sale literature and price list. The car has what appears to be its original dealer fitted number plates showing that it was supplied by Mercedes Bath, and still has its spare keys as well.
The specification is lovely, as you would expect from a car of quality such as this, with all the standard toys, but it also has a wind deflector and electric memory seats (a nice thing to have ) and even the famous high quality Mercedes floor mats. The car sits on a recently new set of correct factory specified Michelin tyres, which the vendor wanted to put on to keep the car as Mercedes intended and gives you an indication of how it has been cared for.
